Entry Fees for the Boulder Walks

Adults $15
Kids $5
Students & Goldcards $10
Families (2 Adults & all kids) $35

The Boulders are open every day during daylight hours, last entry is 2 hours before sunset.

When the Boulder Cafe is open EFTPOS and Credit Cards are accepted. If the entry is unattended you can still gain entry by using cash in our honesty box or by using bank transfer. Bank details: Wairere Boulders Account Number 02-0316-0525559-000.

Phone reception is poor at the entrance but fine on the upper track to the ‘Lookout’.

The Cafe is open 10am-3pm every weekend and holidays.

 

Wairere Boulders Campground

Now  you can  access the paddock next to the Wairere Stream to spend the night,where we have 6 pitches. Our low key campground has access to toilets but no showers. During our high season December-April we charge $20 per pitch  for overnight stays, during the rest of the year you can stay for free if you pay entry to the boulders, with additional nights charged at $10 per vehicle.
